Eagle Bluff Fungi Hunt

Discover a one-of-a-kind blend of art, science, and outdoor exploration at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. The Eagle Bluff Fungi Hunt transforms trails into a playful scavenger hunt—featuring hand-crocheted mushrooms inspired by native Minnesota fungi.

Created by Rochester-based artist Lydia Hansen, this immersive experience invites visitors of all ages to slow down, look closely, and connect with the natural world in a new way. Along a 0.75-mile trail loop, you’ll find dozens of fiber-crafted fungi paired with interpretive signage that highlights the role of fungi in Minnesota’s ecosystems.
